About Me
My name is Nick Stavas and I'm a sports journalist who was born and raised in America's heartland. I'm from a small town in Iowa where sports brings the community together. Growing up in a place like that launched my desire to become a sports reporter. I began writing sports articles at 12 years old and instantly knew it was the right career for me. I decided to attend the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University, where I'm pursuing a Bachelor's in Sports Journalism.
My sporting interests include everything under the sun, but I have an affinity toward combat sports, football, hockey, and basketball. My expertise is writing, so a career in the print/digital field is currently my top priority. I also have experience in play-by-play broadcasting, radio, and podcasting.
